    lately:
The Jesus and Mary Chain - "Just like Honey"
Depeche Mode - "Black Celebration" / "Halo" / "Mercy In You" / "It's No Good"
    Teenage Filmstars - "Kiss Me"
Automatic 7 - "Pretty in Pink"
The Cult - "She Sells Sanctuary"
No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.

The one song that got me completely hooked into music was "Born To Run" by Bruce Springsteen. I was about 8 or 9 and just knew I had to have that record (yes, actual vinyl )

"Time is running out" by Muse--now I've got all three of their cd's on endless repeat in my car stereo.
Before Muse took over my mind:
Crawling - hooked me on LP and I still need them like crack.
Sic Transit Gloria, Glory Fades - Brand New...what a classic album Deja Endendu is!
Swing, Swing - The All-American Rejects (well, that song and the humongous crush I have on the lead singer).
Reptilia - The Strokes. Mmmmm, the Strokes

Muse is great, Spegs. I'm listening to Showbiz right now, actually.

Currently, I'm really getting into Franz Ferdinand, after "Take Me Out" and its sexy syncopation permeated my consciousness for months. Now that I finally went and bought their debut cd, the stand out tracks for me are "Auf Acshe," "Dark of the Matinee" and "Darts of Pleasure."
Sending good vibes and warm fuzzies your way..., SnowflakeGirl

'Cold Hard Bitch' by Jet convinced me to buy "Get Born". The entire CD is amazing - hasn't left my CD player in months.

'In the End' by Linkin Park. Picked up Hybrid Theory and Meteora because of this song.

'The Rain' by Missy Elliot. I loved this song when I first heard it and have picked up all her LPs since.

Lunascape's "Lane Navachi." The first time I heard that song I knew I had to have it.

I had to buy David Grey's White Ladder album after hearing "Babylon."
