What song was #1 when you were born?

I thought this was kind of fun:

When I was born it was "Soldier Boy" by the Shirelles.

When each of my kids were born, George Michael had different #1 hits, 3 years apart. Odd.

I didn't think I was old enough to rate an Elvis song.

This is freaky, all things considered.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!" -- Steve Parker
