I think we need to establish some guidelines on what levels of cheese there are.

I thought my Shania was pretty darn cheesey: I give it (5 cheeses)

Bway's "Coming Clean" I can judge it because I've heard it and give it... oh cripes... (5 cheeses)

Jakersnaker, i've never heard this song and can't confirm it's cheesiness, the words are pretty darn cheddar but they could be redeemed a little by accompaniment and arrangement. Could you rate it for us?

On lyrics alone, it's easily a 5-cheddar song. I admit that freely.

The entire package? It's still cheesy, but maybe more in the 3 to 4-brie range. Heavily cheesy, but GOOD cheese. :-)

Most of the people who know me probably don't think of me as the type who would listen to bands like Rammstein, but there's no way in hell I'm ashamed of admitting that I like it.
    Gustav Holst was right!

Anyhoo, while listening to the radio today, the DJs were dissing Air Supply. Those of you who don't know them, well, suffice it to say that they would have problably broken your cheese scale in the late 70s early 80s. People were calling in and singing along with their favorite Air Supply song today. Funny crap! My fave was a guy singing..."Girl you're every woman in the world to me..."

i am African American and 15 years old. everyone expects me to only listen to rap, hip-hop and r&b. i do listen to those and love them but every now and then i like some pop. i loved Justin Timberlake's song, "Senorita" which was produced by the Neptunes. On the Thriller album i love the song, "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" no one knows that i actually listen to that song. It's awesome.

Embarrassing only because everyone seems to hate Celine these days,

My Heart Will Go On (I still love that song)

    Really Embarrassing,
