Does anyone know who the female singer is in the remix of Eamon's "Don't Want You Back" that was on the radio? Can't find it for the life of me. The actual song is called "F*** You (Don't Want You Back)" but on the clean version on the radio they did a duet and I can't figure out the female singer. Thanks!

I think the singer's name is "Frankee."

I wouldn't be surprised if the 'duet' part is actually him doing his song and her singing part of her song, 'F.U.R.B'(F You Right Back). Apparently, it was a gigantic hit in the U.K (Fan, can you back me up on this one? )

I can indeed, you're right, it was a huge hit here. Frankee was number one for three weeks and she actually knocked Eamon off!

This is the only place on the internet that I can find these lyrics, but unfortunately they don't mention the group: http://www.grassrootsmusic.com/guitar/tab-derail.php

They popped this cd in at the City Museum in St. Louis last week and I love the band's sound, but I'm at a loss. Does anyone recognize the lyrics??

Welcome to my head, and won't you please excuse the mess
'Cause I've been up all night; the memories aren't for sale
But you can borrow them for free if you express your empathy You'll have to wade around the garbage, but you can block it out like me
I've got this place I get away got this place I get away
Got this place I get away sometimes
I talked to God last night, but then it ended up the same tomorrow
Nothing's gonna change; no it won't ever change
I talked to mom and dad, but I can't tell them what I want to say
I guess that kids just live their lives that way
I've got this place I get away got this place I get away
Got this place I get away sometimes I find that
You derail my heart; you derail my soul
You derail me home, and you save myself from me
You derail my heart; you derail my soul

Ok, this is more of a "Help -- who is this band?" question, but I figure it'll fit in here, and save us all from the trouble of a new thread.

Has anyone heard of the Freddie Jones Band? I heard a song by them, "In a Daydream", on the radio a couple of weeks ago, and thought "cool, a new band." But no. All I can find on the Internet suggests that they're an older band that already broke up. I can't find a link to any websites or anything much else about them.
So, anyone heard of this group?

I remember "In a Daydream" from college, and it was played a lot there since they were from Chicago. That song came out at least 10 years ago and I don't know if they are still together or not. I remember another song they had "Take the Time" and that they had an album cover that photoshopped the North Ave. exit sign on the Kennedy Expressway.

So, yes I've heard of them and know some random information about them but not much more. (other than they sound a lot like Dave Matthews)

No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering.
