    Your Favorite "Love Makin" Music

    So....

What is/are your favorite songs, albums, mix tapes etc. to put on the stereo just before you and your special someone make the pilgramage into "the other room"?

For me it tends to vary upon mood etc. but here are a few never fail standards...

    * Al Green - Greatest Love Songs (has to include "Lets Stay Together")

    * Marvin Gaye - Greatest Hits (has to included 'Lets Get it On' and 'Sexual Healing')

    * Sarah McLachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecxtasy

    * Greates Soul Love Songs - Complilation CD

    * Donna Summer - Love to Love You Baby (the LONG version)

Styx! - "Babe" & "Come sail away" (& more)

Journey - just about any of their songs...

    Air Supply - Greatest hits

    Enya

Sinead O'Connor - Nothing compares to you

(Hmm...I think this is a GREAT topic, I'll probably end up compiling a couple of new CDs after this thread gets filled out! hehe )

Jonny Lang, "Lie to Me" and "Wander this World". Both very bluesy albums.
I had an ex who liked to put on the soundtrack to "Riverdance". WTF?

Yeah Lucy WTF is up with that?!? Did he then proceeded to river dance and get all sweaty and then rip his shirt off like Michael Flatley or whatever his name is. Maybe he thought it would get you all hot & bothered. LOL

Dire Straits - Love Over Gold.

That was my standard in my single days. Now i guess it's what ever is in the CD player at the time, as long as it's not one of the kids Raffi or Wiggles cd's.

No, the musical theme didn't seem to have any relation to his, er, activities. As I recall, though, the musical rhythm was fairly constant, so maybe that, um, helped?

Geez, all of this slow music would put me to sleep before I finish.

    Something up-tempo please.

Just toss in the first Enigma album and it's on...little bit of smooth and funk all in one. (good thing cd's don't have eyes or that one of mine could tell all kinds of crazy stories)
