Have You Ever by S Club

Sometimes its wrong to walk away
Though you think its over knowing
Theres so much more to say
    Suddenly the moment's gone
And all your dreams are upside down
And you just wanna change the way the world goes 'round.

    Tell me
Have you ever loved and lost somebody
Wish there was a chance to say "I'm sorry"
    Can you see
    Thats the way I feel
    About you and me, baby
Have you ever felt your heart was breaking
Looking down the road you should be taking
    I should know
'Cause I loved and lost the day I let you go

Cant help but think that this is wrong
We should be together back in
    Your arms where I belong
    Now I finally realize
It was forever that I've found
I'd give it all to change the way the world goes 'round

    Tell me
Have you ever loved and lost somebody
Wish there was a chance to say "I'm sorry"
    That's the way I feel
    About you and me, baby
Have You ever felt your heart was breaking
Looking down the road you should be taking
    I should know
'Cause I've loved and lost the day I let you go

I really wanna hear you say
That you know just how it feels
To have it all and let it slip away
Can you see even though the moment's gone
    I'm still holding on somehow
Wishing I could change the way the world goes 'round

    Tell me
Have you ever loved and lost somebody
Wish there was a chance to say "I'm sorry"
    That's the way I feel
    About you and me, baby
Have you ever felt your heart was breaking
Looking down the road you should be taking
    I should know
'Cause I loved and lost the day I let
Yes I loved and lost the day I let
Yes I loved and lost the day I let you go

    Travelin' Man Bob Seger

Up with the sun, gone with the wind
She always said I wass lazy
Leavin' my home, leavin' my friends
Runnin' when things get too crazy
Out to the road, out 'neath the stars
Feelin' the breeze, passin' the cars

Women have come, women have gone
    Everyone tryin' to cage me
Oh, someone so sweet, I nearly got free
    Others they only rage me
Sometimes at night, I see their faces
I feel the traces they've left on my soul
Those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul
Those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul

Travelin' man, love when I can
Turn in my hand 'cause I'm goin' on
Oh, travelin' man, love when I can
But sooner or later I'm goin' on, yea
    Travelin man

    [break]

Sometimes at night, I see their faces
I feel the traces they've left on my soul
But those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul
I tell you those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul
    Travelin' man, yea
I could go east, I could go west, it was all up to me to decide. Just then I saw a young hawk flyin' and my soul began to rise. ~Bob Seger

I like that song too. If I wasn't so lazy this morning I would hunt the lyrics down for you.

    4 Non-Blondes, "What's Up":

25 years of my life and still
I'm trying to get up that great big hill of hope
    for a destination
I realized quickly when I knew I should
that the world was made up of this brotherhood of man
    for whatever that means
so I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed
to get it all out what's in my head
then I start feeling a little peculiar
so I wake in the morning and I step outside
I take a deep breath and I get real high
then I scream from the top of my lungs
    what's goin' on
    and I try
oh my God do I try
I try all the time in this institution
and I pray, oh my God do I pray
    I pray every single day
    for a revolution

The singer for this band has the most incredible voice. If you've never heard it check it out on Kazaa or something.
Also, anything by Paula Cole or Concrete Blonde...

    TRIVIA:
The 4 Non-Blondes appeared in the movie "Philadelphia". They were the band that played at the masquerade party at Tom Hank's apartment (and no not the acapella band that sang "Sandman". LOL). They were the rock band that they showed several times in various shots of the party. They played a good portion of one song during the scene where Tom Hanks and Antonio Bandares are slow dancing. There is no mistaking the lead singer (Linda Perry), her unique voice or her unique hat! LOL

I don't have song lyrics to post but I do have a lyrics question of sorts. Anyone know of a song by a guy saying something along the lines of "I want to make you my wife" ? It's been played on the radio in the past 5 months or so. It supposedly has to do with a guy being shipped overseas and he wants to get married before he goes.

    Thanks!

My all time favourite and the most romantic is Wild is the Wind by David Bowie. Can't get enough of the lyrics.
FANTASIZE!!!!!! It's better than the real thing.

I think - but I'm not positive - it's an older song by an '80's band called Sheriff. The opening lines are "When I was a younger man...I hadn't a care...foolin' around, hittin' the town, drinkin' my beer..."
Like I said, I'm not positive I'm thinking of the same tune you are. The song was a hit in the early '80's and had this weird resurgence, I think people were using it for a wedding song. The actual name of the song is "I Love You".
