There are so many but Yummy, Yummy, Yummy by the Archies...(and the 10,000 songs that copied it...)

Show me the Way by Peter Frampton

and Ice, Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice are particularly awful for the many, many people who thought the songs weren't that good yet copied them anyway.....

I know it. I'm an oldie junky, so when I hear remakes I get furious. The worst one was what's-their-names remake of "Big Yellow Taxi". I would get so mad when I heard that, and I don't know one person who likes it. Joni Mitchell's version was nine-thousand times better.

Ahem, does anyone remember a little ditty by Baz Luhrmann called "Everyone's Free (to Wear Sunscreen)"? Why was everyone fascinated with this song? Why did it get radio time? Maybe this one was best left forgotten. I'm sorry I mentioned it.
Who I'm rooting for: Survivor: Vanuatu - Scout Cloud Lee, Leann Slaby, Lea Masters, Eliza Orlins, Twila Tanner, and Lisa Keiffer.
