Those cd's are in my hidden cd stash... don't feel bad.. I listen mostly to classic rock and punk, if my friends ever found out that i owned any pop type of music, i would never live it down...

Time to post the rest of my Christmas CDs (and the ones I've gotten for myself...)

Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot ****.5 As you can see above, this was one of the presents Crissy got me. It kind of makes me sick, though...this is supposed to be a collection of B-sides and rarities, and I can't write songs that are this good, in general.

Alice in Chains - Jar of Flies ***** Of course I love it--it's AIC! This album is really something, though. Mostly acoustic-based with string arrangements and such throughout, it's something I could listen to over and over, and I do, indeed.

Tori Amos - Tales of a Librarian ****.5 She's really weird, but she's a great musician. Very well-crafted songs and performances. "Professional Widow" freaks me out, though.

Alice in Chains - Nothing Safe: Best of the Box ****.5 Much better than their "Greatest Hits" compilation. It includes some previously unreleased songs and the hidden track from "Dirt." I actually got this one for my mom, and she likes it a lot.

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream ***** Another classic. Billy C.'s one heck of a musician and songwriter.

Queen - Greatest Hits I, II, & III ***** The third disc gets a little weird, but it's still very cool. The first two discs are simply wonderful, containing all their biggest hits and many of their songs you probably don't realize that you know.

Happy With What You Have to be Happy With - King Crimson *****
This is actually an accompanying EP to their latest album, "The Power to Believe." Of the two, I might actually prefer this EP! (I must say that TPTB is supurb as well, though.) It flows better than most albums I've heard, yet remains incredibly diverse, flowing seamlessly from prog-metal overkill, to Japanese-influenced ambience, to acoustic balladry.

The last CDs I have bought were
Seal - Seal
Clay Aiken - Measure Of A Man
Indigo Girls - Rites Of Passage
Diamond Rio - Four
Bryan Adams - So Far So Good
Ray Charles - His Greatest Hits Vol. I and II
Willie Nelson - What A Wonderful World
Matt Price - Serves You Right
Mary Black - The Holy Ground
Kathy Mattea - Willow In The Wind

Measure Of A Man is the only one I bought new. I usually buy CDs used, but MOAM had not been out long enough to find used ones easily.
