What's the last CD you bought? - Page 8

I just got two as gifts:

Nirvana - Unplugged in New York ***** A classic. A very emotional concert, with Kurt doing the songs that he wants to do. No "Teen Spirit" or anything like that...just a nice, intimate concert filled with acoustic guitars, brushed drums, and a cello. (Also, an accordion on one song!)

Guest appearances by Cris and Curt Kirkwood of the Meat Puppets.

Alice in Chains - Unplugged ***** Actually, this one's a DVD, and I'd give it more like seven stars--it's breathtaking. AIC performing acoustic rendetions of their most beautiful songs in a small, candlelit theatre. Amazing musicianship and very stirring...I dare you to listen to "Brother" without getting at least a little choked up. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended.

I bought myself a Christmas present, Finger Eleven's new cd ****

I'm giving Michael Buble's cd to my dad. It's supposed to be really good. It has one of my favorite songs (Moondance) on it. This cd seems smooth

A friend of mine gave me silverchair's first cd ~ Frogstomp. I think I like this one more than Neon Ballroom, one of my favorite cd's, so I'm giving this one a solid **** and 3/4

The first and second Brand New cd, Yellowcard, new MxPx cd... Also Billy Talent, Double Drive and the double Clash cd.. Skip Billy Talent but the rest are awesome...
