| that sounds like a great CD, MHayes. I'm a big fan of the Jayhawks, Pete Yorn and Nickel Creek... Carbon Leaf is from here in Richmond, you can't hardly get into their concerts, so many of their hometown fans. A year or two ago I bought their CD with the Boxer on it because it was all over the stations here... loved the Boxer, liked the CD OK.

| Clay Aiken - Measure Of A Man (again, to replace one taken by a friend) Josh Groban - Closer (4.5) Vertical Horizon - Go (4.5) Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow (4.0) She's done better, but this is a pretty good album because of her beautiful voice. John Mayer - Heavier Things (3.5) More than a few songs I didn't necessarily enjoy. Seal - Seal IV (4.5) Love his voice, think this is one of his best. My ratings are usually pretty high on the scale of (0-5) because I generally only purchase CDs of artists whose voices I prefer. So, even on their "not so good" songs, at least I have their vocal talent to fall back on enjoy the song somewhat. Exception is John Mayer, his voice is passable, but I enjoy his songwriting ability more than his vocal talent. | |

| Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow I agree with Eddiesleg. I love Sarah's voice, but I don't feel this is her best album. I'll have to listen to it a few more times to get the full "flavor".
