| Barenaked Ladies - Everything to Everyone... Not the best BNL, but good! Barenaked Ladies - Everything to Everyone... I bought the one with the DVD and the one with the extra tracks, so I could hear them in the car... The Eagles - I don't know the title, but it's the new double greatest hits CD... Can't go wrong with this... Micheal McDonald - Motown... The more I listen, the more I hate it... I liked him as a member of the Doobie Brothers, I saw commercials for this and thought it sounded okay... But the entire CD all together at once is a little hard to take... He sounds like Micheal Friggen Bolton!

| Josh Groban - Closer (****) My dad got this today, and I think it's great. His voice is still as awesome as ever, and this time around the selections are a lot less cheesy pseudo-pop and a lot more classically-inspired. All-in-all, a bit more majestic and beautiful than his first album. | |

| Manny -- I still think your voice is better than Josh Groban. ![]() I remember seeing Josh on Aly McBeal for the first time and thinking he had the most incredible voice. Is that how he got his start or was recognized?

| Aww, thank you, Jewels! You're too kind. I'm not sure how Josh was first recognized; I hadn't heard him until fairly recently. I wasn't really a TV watcher; I'm still not really, per se. I think David Foster (the producer) discovered him while he was in college, looked into getting him professional training, and cultivated him to become a recording artist. Something like that. ![]() | |

| The Rising - Springsteen I know nothing about new music. I guess I'm old, or music sucks now or the radio stations in town are just bad. A shame, really...I used to like music a lot. -Randy |

| The Jayhawks, "Rainy Day Music". Kind of has a Crosby Stills and Nash feel to it. First Jayhawks CD I've had... will eventually go back and buy earlier ones. Am a convert! ![]()

| Jazz After Dark 2003 - 2 CD Set with 1st CD all instrumental and 2nd Jazz Vocals, Great CD! On The Mountain 9 - The Mountain is a Seattle radio station and they produce 1 album a year of all the guests that come in and play live acoustic music in the "Mountain Music Lounge”. This year’s compilation has Lighthouse, THE WAIFS Tailspin, THE JAYHAWKS Pickapart, JOHN BUTLER The Boxer, CARBON LEAF Come Around, RHETT MILLER The Last Good Day of the Year, COUSTEAU Summertime Thing, CHUCK PROPHET You Can't Hide, MAKTUB The World Is What You Make It, PAUL BRADY If I Had A Boat, LYLE LOVETT True To Myself, ZIGGY MARLEY A Sorta Fairytale, TORI AMOS How Good It Can Get, THE WALLFLOWERS Suspicious Minds, PETE YORN Spit On A Stranger, NICKEL CREEK Drive South, JOHN HIATT Amsterdam, GUSTER Destiny, ZERO 7 You and I Both, JASON MRAZ You can only find it at Seattle Starbucks.
