AFI- A Fire Inside. Anyone like them?

This is a punk- rock group who's been around since '96. They are only emerging now after winning the MTV2 Award at the Video Music Awards earlier this year. I personally like them and have all of their full albums.
If you wish to pick one up, their newest one, Sing the Sorrow, is by far the best.

    A.F.I. are very good.
I have yet to find someone who didn't like Sing the Sorrow!

Finally--someone is talking about this band. They have a sound like no other, the music is very good. Have you checked out earlier albums, Black Sails in the Sunset, and the Art of Drowning?
They are actually one of the few bands that sound better live than recorded. I kind of hope they dont get too popular and have to perform in larger venues.

I have all of their earlier albums. They sound very Green Day-esque though. The older albums sound very different.
    I have:
    Sing the Sorrow
    The Art of Drowning
    Very Proud of Ya
    Black Sails in the Sunset
    Answer That and Stay Fashionable
and Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes.

People think that they are sell outs, I don't. Also, I was kinda shocked to learn that Jade Puget and Adam Carson (Guitar and drums, respectively) were homosexual. Not a big thing, but, being a fourteen-year-old, you know, its like weird.

They're a great band. I think Sing The Sorrow is AWESOME. My friend has it, and we listen to it over and over and over again. Good writer's music.
I was in love with a difficult man.

Look up Son of Sam--for about 6 months Davey, the singer of AFI, sang for this band. Of Power, Everynight, Songs From The Earth, are good.
