    This totally caught my attention.

It would be so hard to pick!! If I can pick dead people too, I'd go with:

    1. Led Zeppelin
    2. Nirvana
    3. The Police

But I love Garbage, and could fit them in there....soooo many bands to choose from...

    1. Frank Sinatra
    2. Rosemary Clooney
    3. Bing Crosby

    More..

    1. TLC
    2. Aaliyah
    3. Destiny's Child/Beyonce

Oh what the heck, I'm leaving too many people out, but that first line up would be historic!

wow, this is a tough one

    I guess
    1. Paul Simon
    2. Eagles
    3. Bruce Spingsteen

    the other one would be
    1. Sheryl Crowe
    2. Bob Seger
    3. Fleetwood Mac (with Christi McVee, Lindsey Buchingham and Stevie)

but even as I'm typing this I'm coming up with other combinations in my head.
I could go east, I could go west, it was all up to me to decide. Just then I saw a young hawk flyin' and my soul began to rise. ~Bob Seger

    I would invite

    1. Coldplay... Their vocals are so smooth... And the music they play are so inspirational (We could give the price of the sales of the tickets to charity!)

    2. John Mayer... I like his music! And he sings great live!

    3. Christina Aguilera... Her voice is good... We could do a duet...

I thnk I'll go with deceased artists. There's no point for me to choose artists who are still alive.

    1) Nirvana
    2) Tupac (w/ Biggie Smalls as well? *hopeful*)
    3) Johnny Cash

These were some of the first line-ups that came to mind. I'd like to add that these would only be great concerts if these bands were in their prime, (some of them fell to mediocrity long ago).

    Tower of Power
    Fishbone
    Parliament
    -----
    Bela Fleck and The Flecktones
Col. Bruce Hampton & The Aquarium Rescue Unit
    Steely Dan
    -----
    Wire
    The Police
    Red Hot Chili Peppers
    -----
    Southern Culture On The Skids
    NRBQ
    John Hiatt
    -----
    Buddy Guy
    Stevie Ray Vaughn
    John Lee Hooker

For those of us who like folk/bluegrass:

    1. Bill Monroe
    2. Woody Guthrie
    3. Pete Seeger (still alive!)
