| What comes to mind is "Tainted Love". I heard that they re-recorded the song in various styles for one album. |

I think my fave would have to be "Perfect Way" by Scritti Politti. I know there are others but that's one that comes to mind. | ||

| Ohhhh I really like Eldee and Karna's choices!!! (in fact Tainted Love was the first one that came to mind for me as well) Just to add a new one to the list tho, I'll have to say Send Me An Angel by Real Life (I'm pretty sure that's who does it, just too lazy to go and find the cd single to double check that). | |

| Tallulahbaby... I really like that song by The Proclaimers. I believe I first heard it in the movie "Benny and Joon" with Johnny Depp and Mary Stuart Masterson And that Minnie Ripperton song... oh man, we used to make fun of that one (sorry ) That and "Feelings" wo wo wo feelings... who sang that??Here are a few more: "I'm Too Sexy" - Right Said Fred (not a fave but interesting) "Breakfast At Tiffany's" - Deep Blue Something "Black Velvet" - Allanah Myles "Get Here" - Oleta Adams (one of my all time favorite songs period) "Personally" - Karla Bonoff (singer/songwriter -- Linda Ronstadt recorded some of her songs and I believe Karla did background vocals on a few of Linda's albums) "Breakout" - Swing Out Sister (I may be wrong about that one because they've actually recorded quite a few albums -- I found their website a couple of months ago) "Hot, Hot, Hot" - Buster Poindexter (aka David Johansen) |
