They had a song called "Hourglass" in the late 80's. I don't know what a flannel is either, must be a british thing.

Love Go West :) I have their "Indian Summer" CD. Maybe you're thinking of "What You Won't Do For Love" ? And wasn't that melody the theme song for the TV show "Too Close For Comfort" with Ted Knight and Jim J Bullock?

Well thank you! I have always been bugged by the fact that I didn't know what he was talking about. My parents lived in England for a couple of years (before I was born), so I know a lot of British slang but I never heard that one.
