Kevin Rowland fans might disagree with me calling Dexy's Midnight Runners a one-hit wonder, but for a long time it was the only song of theirs' I knew - Come on Eileen. Love that song.

Thomas Dolby also had more than one hit (Europa and the Pirate Twins, Hyperactive, One of Our Submarines, Abilty to Swing), granted none as ingrained into pop culture as "She Blinded Me With Science", but still considered hits.

Kahlenrules, I think that the "Saturday Night" song you're thinking of is by the Bay City Rollers. As far as the U.S. goes, one hit wonders (yet they managed to get a 1970's Saturday morning TV show out of it).

Both Gary Numan and Soft Cell seem to have their one hit wonders pop back up every 10 years or so. Cars was also covered by Fear Factory with Gary actually singing on it. Tainted Love has popped up on club charts several times with remixes to fit the sound du jour.

that 70's song "Get Off" is by Foxy

Now, some of my favorite 1 hit wonders are -

    Black Velvet - Alannah Myles
    96 Tears - ? and the Mysterians
    2 of Hearts - Stacy Q
The Gentleman Who Fell - Milla
I was thinking of Saturday Night by Whigfield.

Chorita The Promise is still one of my favorite songs. I keep it in the car and listen to it regularly.

Omigawd, I'd so totally forgot about that song, I had to go to iTunes and listen to a sample of it.

I actually like every song on their album. I listen to it in the car all the time (well, anytime I'm taking a long drive).

Well, they're probably all controversially one-hit wonders ('cause there all European bands...), but I say

    'Barbie Girl' by Aqua
'Tainted Love' by Soft Cell, and
'Blue (Da Ba Dee)' by Eiffel 65.

I realize that Eiffel 65 had a few huge hits and CDs in their native Italy, but in the US, that was their only hit. Same with Aqua, only in Sweden.
...And the strange boy continued to weave in and out of her life, leaving her with a sense of wonder and amazment, but also, a feeling of loss, knowing that life might never be the same again.
