There are a couple of AC/DC tunes I love the guitar riffs from. Hell's Bells has to be one of the tops, though.

I just have to point out two gents who I think belong in the "Guitar Riff Hall-of-Fame," even if their work is part of the "Golden-Moldie" era, in the minds of some. These fellows would be Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, both of whom did so much to advance the art of "riffage." Some representative samplings are:
Stones: "The Last Time" - This catchy riff puts me in a good mood every time I hear it.
"Jumping Jack Flash"
"Monkey Man"
"Miss You"
"19th Nervous Breakdown"
"Can't You Hear me Knockin'" (the riff that opens the instrumental portion)
Zep:
"Whole Lotta Love"
"Ten Years Gone"
"Thank You"
"Houses of the Holy"
"The Crunge"
"Trampled Under Foot" - the list goes on and on.
Also -
Beck - "Loser"
AC/DC - "Back in Black"
Kravitz - "Are You Gonna Go my Way"
Speaking of a song where I like the riff more than the song as a whole, there's "Our Love is Alive," by the dude who did "Dream Weaver," I forget his name.
I can't see how anyone couldn't like the opening to "Are You Gonna Go My Way", SR. We are in total agreement there.
And, John, "Hell's Bells" is an excellent choice, too, especially with the bell gonging in the background while the guitar's gettin' busy.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

StrangleHold - Ted NuggentThe list wouldn't be complete without this dude. I love that song.
Whew...glad to be back. I'm so wiped out from biz trips, I think I'll boycott them for a while.
You can pretend to be serious; you can't pretend to be witty.
Welcome back, Mokka!
I'm going to dig up some of these songs because I love guitars and I don't know all the songs. Thanks for the tips, everyone!
Another cool guitar bit: "Was" by Kenny Wayne Shepherd. That guy can really wail with his guitar.

Well, well, well. I've known Paulie nearly a third of his life and I never knew he loved the guitar so much - cool!
I'm no expert here, but I'll throw in a few:
Smooth - Santana
What It Is - Mark Knopfler
There was a Joe Satriani tune about 5 or 6 years ago that I also really liked. Can't remember the name though.
