What in the hell are you saying? Sing clearer!

This is a thread for song lyrics you just don't understand, or you think are something else.

I'm staring with Kelly Rowland in that Nelly song. She's like, All I think about is you, even when I'm with my SOMETHING. It sounds like "boobs" or "boots". Well, you're ALWAYS with your boobs, honey...

I believe it's with my "boo"
Boo is a term for your guy, your significant other, whatever.

Aww, I kind of like it. It's been totally overplayed though.

I like that song. Like Kylie said, it's being overplayed, but that just how radio works. I really hate the Nelly & Kelly moniker. What are they, the freakin Bobsy twins?

That song "I'm Like a Bird" by Nelly Furtado always used to confuse me. I thought she was singing:

I'm like a bird, I wanna fly away
I don't know where my home is
I don't know where my phone is

I thought "well, of course you don't know where your phone is, you're like a bird!!!"

One that cracked me up back when I was in college was "Hold On Loosely" by 38-Special. One night sitting around with some friends having a few beers, it came on the radio. My friend starts singing and we all busted up. He actually though the lyrics were:

    Just hold on Moosehead
    and don't let go
    if you cling to tightly
    you're going to lose control

He thought it was about dropping your Moosehead beer. I'm serious!

Wayner...That reminds me of a song from when I was younger called "Talking In Your Sleep" by Crystal Gayle. There's a line that starts out, "Maybe I'm being foolish, but...", and my sister and I always thought she was saying, "Maybe I'm Rita Coolidge, but..."
