In Hilary Duff's "Metamorphosis" the line goes "C'mon and give me a kiss, c'mon I insist"
I thought it was "somebody give me a kiss, from what I insist".

In Dido's "White Flag" she says "I won't put my hands up and surrender" and my mom thought she said "I won't poke my eyes out and surrender." At least hers made sense though cause I used to think she said "I will go down with fishy" when she said "I will go down with this ship." Oh and a really funny site for stuff like this is http://www.amiright.com

OK, I'm pretty sure we all know the song Edge Of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks... at least us old fogies know it...

anyway... I think she's saying "Like a white winged dove" (I'm really not sure )

I am sure however, that my son had it wrong when he sang: "Like a wild ranger"

In Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love", the first lines goes...
You need coolin', baby, I'm not foolin'

I have always thought it said:
You need kool-aide, baby, I'm not foolin'

Now, regarding the whole Michael Jackson "vegetable" thing. I have no clue if these are right but here's a portion of the lyrics to "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'".

    You're a vegetable, you're a vegetable
Still they hate you, you're a vegetable
    You're just a buffet, you're a vegetable
They eat off of you, you're a vegetable

    I still don't get it
    Isn't it irresistable.

    "you're irresistable"

Oh! In Beyonce's "Crazy In Love," she says, "When I talk to my friends so quietly, {Who he think he is?} Look at what you did to me."

Ya know I always thought she was saying, "When I talk to my friend O'Reily, dooky dooky, look at what ya' did to me."

Until a few years ago I thought Jimmy Hendrix was singing "'scuse me, while I kiss this guy" instead of "'scuse me while I kiss the sky". I could never understand WHY, except that I thought he must be on acid or something and couldn't tell a boy from a girl. I was tragically unhip during that era, being a child myself. .
Well I was born in a small town
And I can breathe in a small town
Gonna die in this small town
    And that's prob'ly where they'll bury me
