My tastes remain quite electic, due to the influences of my friends - many who introduced me to music I didn't even know I liked. So, in no particular order...

    Keigo Oyamada (aka "Cornelius")
    The Kronos Quartet
    Beck
    Coldplay
    the White Stripes
    Glenn Lewis
    Radiohead
    Johnny Cash
    Hot Hot Heat
    The Strokes
    The Hives
    The Libertines
The Music (wow, that's a lot of "the"s...)
    Tori Amos
    Fiona Apple
    No Doubt
    Bjork (!!!)
    Elvis Costello
    Mathew Good Band
    Sam Roberts
X (officially defunct now, but...I still love Exene Cervenka )
    Eminem
    The Wallflowers
    Our Lady Peace
    Rammstein
George Gershwin (yes! "Rhapsody in Blue" is my favourite)
    Erik Satie
    Cesaria Evora

If I had to choose just *one*, however, I'd still go with Leonary Cohen, who made me see that songs could be poetry. Now, you know a musician is a songwriting genius when you don't even mind that he can't sing.

My cousin was obsessed with this song called "Joga" by Bjork. It was actually pretty good, imo. That's a cool avatar, nausicaa. I like it!

A whole lot. I can list down but it would be too many.

Thanks, Mdrio! So much grief I've gotten from people who can't understand why I like Bjork.

Oh, and yes, I really like my present avatar. I think this one's a keeper.
