    Well, it depends on the song, of course, but I'd put Norah Jones on my list, too. And Sade. And Sting (Fields Of Gold, especially) and Brian Adams and Rod Stewart. But the one whose voice pretty much gets me "in the mood" on any kinda mellow song is Clay Aiken. His voice does something special for me, at a very visceral level.

    Wow! I never actually think to add music to the mix. I am always concentrating so much on the activities that music never enters the picture.

    There's a great song by Heather Nova called "Walk This World". I highly highly HIGHLY recommend it for, um, atmosphere.
