The Challenge: Season 23

Filming for the 23rd season of the challenge has begun. Today, May 30th, 32 Real World alumni (yes there are no Road Rules or Fresh Meat cast members on this challenge) traveled to wherever it's being filmed at. Here is the cast

As you can see, it looks like its some sort of "seasons" theme. Only 8 seasons of the Real World are being represented on this challenge (well technically 9 since Alton & Trishelle were on Vegas 1 and Nany & Dustin were on Vegas 2). I am not sure as if there will be 8 teams of 4 players or if it will be a partner challenge and each person will be paired up with someone from their season. The format isn't 100% clear just yet

Alton used to be an animal in the challenges. Wes is back?

Nice to see a "No Johnny Bananas" free challenge. Give the newbies a chance to season themselves before throwing them in a pit with the veterans. But really Dunbar? Wonder if his gut has gotten bigger?

I'm torn on the amount of newbies. So many of them I don't really like. Even more than some of the vets :lol They may be different on The Challenge. I'll certainly give it a go because I'm curious to see what a challenge is like without so many vets.

I wish some of the vets were back to take on THOR! I have a feeling he is going to be a man-beast!

OK, which one is Thor? I do not watch Real World anymore just the challenges so don't have a clue.

HI!

Thor is the name the roomies during RW San Diego (2) gave Zach. He is HUGE and looks like he is about to go play one of the Avengers in a Hollywood Blockbuster. He also appears to be seriously athletic--all he did while on the RW was go to the gym with his girlfrind/castmate Ashley and he also plays Arena football.

I have never watched this show. My DIRECTV search does not bring up a show with this name. Plenty of shows with the word challenge in them, however! Does this show have a longer name? And what night it is on? Thanks.

Enough of Dunbar, I liked the other guy from his season better. The nice Southern kid with the unusual name...

Cuhutta. He was rumored to be on the last season with Kelly Anne but didn't want to take part in these anymore. Thats why they had to use Nate and Pricilla.

I guess its cool that they are using new people. Id assume if they didn't put a cap on the amount of season they went back, Beth would probably have jumped on. How old is Trichelle at this point? She has to be pushing 40. Guess that acting career went nowhere. Preston wasn't the wacko who ended up leaving the NO2 house was he?
