They probably took out the more emotional scenes...but I'm glad that they decided to share their tragic moments! The set up was great! It was so cute when they decided to go to hooters, and before you knew it... it was truly sad! But like Run said, they need to keep their heads up, and they dont want sympathy! And I totally agree, I'm glad they are deciding to adopt!

I cried during the episode. That family is amazing and I love the way Reverend Run was still able to keep it all together.

I keep wanting somebody to say to Rev, "So, how are you doing?" He's being strong for the family, which is wonderful, but he needs some caring for, too (whether he realizes it, or not). I don't think anything is harder than the death of hope and dreams. That is what a baby represents for me.

I don't know how long they have been married but I couldn't help but hear the girls call her Ma.

It was all so very sad. So wonderful of them to include the footage.

The youngest boys are the ones that Justine and Rev. biologically share. The other children are from his previous marriage. Isn't it fantastic how you can't tell the difference? That is the way to run a family!

And there was an episode last season where the 3 oldest went to their Mom's apt in NYC and the Mom was there with her DH and what appeared to be children she has had with her DH. And Jojo, Angela and Vanessa walked right in and hugged them all just like that was their home as well. Everyone got along wonderfully as well.

Tears were running down my face during this episode. I can't imagine the loss of a child. I am glad that the family is able to pull together through such a rough time.

I get the impression that bieng the leader/protector of his family is what gives him great strength in every situation.
He is a great example for all men ( and women as well).
I agree and benifit also with the "grateful" perspective.

    That's so sad, buglover.

That episode was very moving. And I had no idea that all the kids weren't their biological children together. It is wonderful how they're a family, regardless of who the biological mother is.
