Real World: San Diego (premieres 01/06)

i never thought i'd say this, but-
i miss the early seasons when it it was just real people doing real things, not carbon-copy stereotypes fighting and having sex.
there's nothing real about this anymore.

in MTV's eyes, the 18-25 age group basically are all alcoholics and have nonstop sex.

i'm positive that as soon as they got there (the house) or even got unpacked and settled in, producers said "so....yall wanna go get some liquor?" and tossed them some beer run money, a minivan, and a map

they don't even select people for the show now unless they smoke cigarettes, they weed out all the non drinkers, non smokers during the pre interviews

But what's funny is that they cast 18-21 year olds, and if i'm not mistaken, isn't underage drinking a big no-no if not illegal?

yeah, i had commented on the same thing in an earlier thread, i know at least 2-3 of em are under 21

unless they changed the legal drinking age last year without me knowing then i'm confused :shrug

maybe they are drinking zima's :winkgrin

I think this season, they seem to have a good group of people-not Vegas' wild but not Paris' boringness

Does anyone know why Real World doesn't have it's own forum? I don't wanna bother John by asking if it's been discussed previously......

I don't think enough people at FORT watch it. A lot of people either don't have MTV or don't watch MTV since it is aimed at teens and college kids.
