    Jurassic World

OK, I know some of you have seen it....it seems like half the world must have seen it by now from the #s they are posting. What did you think? And 3D vs. 2D? Extra scenes during the credits? What's the scoop?

    Re: Jurassic World

We were in SLC/Utah on business (for DH) and one evening my hubby and I decided to go see JW!

The theater was a "Megaplex" and you could buy seats that SHOOK!

We did not do 2D or 3D because the TREMOR/FX theater only had the seats that shook!

It was a blast! Oh and you could turn the seats on HIGH or LOW or OFF!

Hubby and I thought they were a riot!

    The movie was AWESOMEEEEEEE!

I was underwhelmed by it. Maybe I expected too much? Sure the dinosaurs were great but I wasn't enthralled by the rest.

Sadly I don't think any local theater has TREMOR/FX seats!. I bet they would have been great for San Andreas as well....

I remember back in my youth seeing the movie Earthquake in Sensurround! We thought we were so cool and cutting edge back then!

I saw it in IMAX 3D. Kind of overwhelming with the huge size and massive sound system. Went a couple of days later to see it with hubby in the regular 2D. It was plenty.

I enjoyed it. Entertaining, great special effects. Lots of "Easter eggs" (references to the earlier Jurassic movies). And the guy grabbing the two margaritas during the "tourists running away" scene was the King of Margaritaville himself . . . Jimmy Buffett!
