I'm trying to find the name of a movie that I saw approximately ten years ago. It was about a family and one of the storylines involved the death of a child. I think it was the mother who was driving a truck across the farm and they allowed the young son to ride in the back. Somehow, the boy gets run over by the truck and is killed. Much guilt ensues. Years later the family is still dealing with it. There is also a surviving son.
I believe that Sissy Spacek plays the mother, but I cannot locate it in her filmography. This was a low budget, independent film, but very good. I either rented the DVD or saw it on a movie channel, like Showtime or HBO. For some reason, I can't locate the movie. Oh, it was filmed on a farm in VA, which fits with it being directed by Sissy Spacek and her husband John Fisk, as this is where she actually lives.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
