One of my friends saw this, said she is going to drag her husband to it, more or less over his dead body, as even though it is no "upper" it makes you think and discuss issues any older couple should be thinking about. She says she saw a review that said it should be mandatory for anyone over 50 and she agrees. So I guess I will try to see it once it gets out of the art theaters--which, with the Oscar nominations, I expect it will. Anyone else see it?
(Not that I have anything per se against art theaters, they do a great service, but the seats are usually uncomfortable and our local one is an hour away.)
I guess I should have given a brief summary. It's about an older couple, getting along fine as they age until the woman has a stroke. It doesn't kill her but severely disables her. The movie follows what happens then, to them and to their relationship.
