As of Dec 14 - 16 weekend Skyfall has now made over $950 million worldwide. I think it will be some folks Christmas movie.

Ah, for just one time I would take the Northwest Passage.

    Re: James Bond movies

The only Daniel Craig James Bond movie I've seen is Quantum of Solace. I didn't like it at all, so have no desire to see any of his others. To me there was next to no storyline, a VERY important part of movies for me. Even James Bond himself had next to no personality, like in previous Bond movies. Just an automaton going from one action sequence to another.

All it was to me was a series of running, jumping, hiding, explosions, & over the top action sequences, and extremely loud. No meat to the story or characters. The "Bond Girl" was extremely forgetable & I don't even remember her name. I certainly couldn't have slept through it, but it left me feeling like: "Huh? What was that all about?"

I liked the former Bond movies with more storyline, humor, & character formation.

Was this one any better? That is, by my described standards?
It certainly has gotten great reviews.

Yes. Of the Daniel Craig films, Quantum of Solace was rather meh. I can't even really remember what it was about. The first (Casino Royale) was good and this latest one was quite good as well. I can't compare it to previous Bonds however as the Craig ones are the only ones I've seen so your final opinion may differ.
