Moonrise Kingdom

We Loved it! Just Loved it! Oh my, how to describe it? It's not a child's movie, yet the majority of the actors are tweens. Two new young actors playing Sam and Suzy (can't remember their real names) are just perfect. I's a comedy and a tender love story and an adventure. It's funny and quirky with some of my favorite actors. Bill Murray, Ed Norton, Francis McDormand, Tilda Swinten and even Bruce Willis are wonderful comedic actors and really are at their best in this movie. I don't want to ruin it by telling too much of the story, but if you Yahoo! or Google it you can find a trailer. Absolutely my favorite movie since The Artist. Go see it before it gets away!

I agree, it was fantastic and totally original. I described it to someone as ALittle Romance meets Stand by Me meets Royal Tennenbaums.

AND, Acooker, No car chases, no bloody violence, nothing exploded and no gratutious and overly graphic obligatory sex scenes. I don't know how they do those scenes in closeup that certainly LOOK like real sexual contact. I'm not a comfortable voyeur. I tend to Fast Forward when it becomes a rather lengthy and explicit scene. I don't do porn. Probably something wrong with me. :>( Oh, well.
