I feel so bad for Sean Young, tho. Hasn't she done this before at another Oscar bash? I know it seems that folks get popular by behaving badly, but sadly, her ship has sailed.

I like Esperanza's hair! It suits her and I think she's adorable. I still wouldn't have wanted to sit behind her though! :lol

I thought Meryl looked better at the Oscar nominees luncheon. Elegant and stylish and slim. That dress last night was the wrong color and it didn't fit her well. Her hair, makeup and jewelry were fabulous. I just wish the dress has been better.

Billy Crystal has been pretty roundly panned by the press today. I have to agree. No, I've never thought he was a very good host, but last night it seemed like he was doing the same schtick that he did ten years ago. It just felt stale to me. They need to start begging Neil Patrick Harris to host next year's show NOW....and give him any amount of money he asks for!

OMG. I was just looking through pics of last night's red carpet and there was a picture of Dolores Hart in her nun's habit. "God Is the Bigger Elvis" - one of the nominated documentary shorts shorts - is about her life. For those who remember her, she starred in Where the Boys Are and several others in the late 50's - early 60's, but then left Hollywood to become a nun. Very cool to see her! I was practically obsessed with WTBA when I was growing up. Dolores was profiled in Entertainment Weekly a while back (maybe in last year's Oscar preview) and the article noted that she's an Academy member so, yes, they send Oscar screeners to the convent!

AJane, I agree about Angelina Jolie being beautiful...she really is. My daughter, who was once a PA -producers assistant at a studio once saw her in person and said that she's even more beautiful than any of her photos. So, wow!!

You're so right. He's such a chameleon to be able to play all those roles and play them so convincingly.

He is an AMAZING actor, and I've been a diehard fan every since the days of True Romance, The Professional et al. In terms of talent, he is light years ahead of plenty of Hollywood's alleged 'golden boys'. It's too bad he still hasn't won an Oscar.
