    Something Borrowed

A nice chick lit type flick---I went because I'd read the books that begin with that one. And if you stay through the credits at the end they have a quick bit that is a preview of the next one!
You do want to strangle the "hero" after a while....but the movie gives him a better "motivation" than the book did as I recall it.

I went this weekend, fell asleep during the 1st 30 minutes, only slept about 15 min, then friends started laughing at me. I am not sure who the "hero" was suppose to be. I came away thinking that all the movie said was if you want something go for it, no matter who you hurt.

I said on another thread I did not like the ending. Glad to see there may be another movie around the one character that I really liked.

Who would the other movie be based on?

Ethan was the only character I would care to find out about. He actually had some redeaming qualities.

OK, I'll go so far here as to say yes, you will see more of Ethan in the next one, since if you stay for the credits you will learn that (and more). If you want more let me know and I can post a spoiler, beyond what you actually see after the credits. CCL pm'ed me and now knows all!

captain, by "hero" I meant the original bridegroom, who I agree was less than heroic.

'Cause I'm nosy and impatient and PWS was sweet enough to indulge me.
I wonder if they will end up making a sequel. There's nothing listed on imdb (yet?) even with regards to preproduction. I wonder if they were waiting to see how well Something Borrowed did at the theatre before committing to filming the second book. And I don't think SB has done all that well.
