I'm a big fan of drama, so maybe I'll like The King's Speech.
I think the secret is not to expect too much. It's just a story about a man who had a speech impediment and what he did about it. Just sit back and enjoy.

I am not a Geoffrey Rush fan and although I love Colin Firth I do find he plays the same person alot
But I loved this movie and especially loved to see Helena Bonham Carter play a non quirky role brilliantly

Saw this last night finally... I think I went into it with my hopes way too high... It was good and the acting was superb. I guess I just thought it was going to blow me away. So now I have guilt that I am missing something... But so glad Colin Firth was finally recognized for his amazing acting talents.

I saw it before the Awards came out.
I thought it was good and had good acting, as well.

I was not at all blown away by it at all, though.

I watched it last night and loved it. The supporting cast was outstanding. Timothy Spall was a fabulous Winston Churchill. And Claire Bloom, for goodness sakes! She acted with Charles Chaplin, and doesn't she look marvelous at 80.
