I really liked it! It was better than Shrek 3! But, we did the 3-D thing, and I would recommend that you save your money. There was barely any 3-D in the movie to make it worth the extra cost.

I did the 2D option and it was fin. Honestly the last film I saw 3D was the lastest version of Journey to the Center of the Earth and it is just an expensive gimmick.

I finally saw this, the 3D version. Liked Fiona becoming leader of the resistance (not spoiling this as I doubt there is anyone on this thread who hasn't seen it yet who will)... very fitting with her character. And I liked that Shrek had to earn his way back into her heart. Yes, very much an "action" version of that movie that always plays around Christmas... something Life... blanking on the title, but still well done. Loved the Pied Piper and his dialamatic flute!
Theater was totally empty... ok, maybe a dozen people...for a 9:50 at night show. On a hot Saturday night. I guess the mob was at Toy Story.

Yes, with Shrek as Jimmy Stewart, and remade as an action film!
