Having yesterday off, my friends and I went to go see an 11 am showing of the movie. Personally, I can't resist the savings of $5 on a ticket in the morning.
The critics gave the movie bad reviews, but it wasn't made for the critics; it was made for the audiences. With that said, I was surprised by how much I liked it. I think it may be one of my favorite romantic comedies. When the movie finished, I walked away knowing that I would get this one on DVD when it comes out.
To give you guys a feel about what to expect, it's sort of like Crash, minus the racism, violence, harshness, and all that jazz. Replace all of that with love, sex, laughs, and flowers.
Two problems I had:
1) Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner were expendable. To be honest, the movie could have gone on without them in the movie. But to look more at the positives, they did step out of it with a hyped-up relationship... which is now over, but whatever.
2) When Julia (Jennifer Garner) went toto seeClick to see Spoiler:SF, she arrived atClick to see Spoiler:Dr. HarrisonShe should have beenClick to see Spoiler:the hospital and asked the desk if he was in.It made me go, "Huh?"Click to see Spoiler:in SF, but one of the ladies answered the phone and said it was the LA hospital.
Anyway, if you're into romantic comedies, then go out and see this one!
