And I think Farrah wasn't shown since she didn't work primarily in movies. And perhaps she wasn't a member of the Academy.

ETA: I'm reading that she actually was a member of the Academy. The reason they didn't show her was because they like to focus on movie stars. But still, why include MJ then? He wasn't primarily known for acting.

MJ was not known as an actor and he was included. And, typically, the In Memoriam tribute includes a number of people who are not motion picture stars.
I think this show will definitely not go down in history as 1 of the better ones.

I think the Farrah omission was a crime. She did have a run of movies in the 70's: Logan's Run, Sunburn, Saturn V. No, she wasn't all that good in them, but still. It's like from the moment she died, Jackson has upstaged her.
I know! I believe we're gonna hear about this all over the media news.

I wanted Ben Bratt to come out for Sandra. Oh well.

I'm loving Stanley Tucci's tribute to Meryl Streep. Way too funny. And to hear from Oprah about Gaby's fairytale rise was just beautiful.

    ETA.

Very happy to see Sandra Bullock win. I've still not seen this movie, but I do feel that Sandra has been underrated as an actress for a very long time. Her speech was just great - esp. the shoutout to her husband.

    Totally agree!

I don't think Sandra deserved it over the other nominees, but congrats anyway. It was obvious she was going to win though.

I don't think that Sandra deserved it either, I personally thought that Gabby should have won but as many said, she and Carey Mulligan kind of cancelled each other out. Kudos to her though; any actress who goes and accepts her Razzie gets brownie points in my book.

Oprah's piece for Gabby made me tear up a little-I hope that she gets more and more great roles in the future.

Barbara was a great choice for the presenter. Believe it or not, she was the first woman to win the Golden Globe for Best Director. And since Kathryn didn't win it, she remains the only one.
