Show off. :P ;) :lol
I love Gabby! She seems like so much fun to hang out with. It's unfortunate that she and Carey are nominated at the same time, since they cancel each other out by both having their breakout performances this year.

Watching the red carpet and seeing George Clooney go directly over to greet the fans standing behind the fence! Gotta love that man. So classy yet so down to earth and un-Diva like. Wish there were more celebrities like him! :biglove

I was very happy to see him do that. He really understands that it's the fans that makes it all worth while. :yay

Meryl Streep's sleek white dress was designed by Chris March of Project Runway!

And so it begins! With the nominees of Best Actor and Best Actress...

Oh boy, that Steve Martin / Alex Baldwin opening just DIED. And the song by Niel Patrick Harris was not good either.

I saw Mariah's dress - gorgeous. And she's not "hanging out" all over the place, either. :)

Tim Gunn must have said: "Make it work!"

Based on the very unfunny opening of this Oscars show, I think we're in for a really loooooong night!
I sure hope it picks up, as both Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin are terrific. The writing, however, sucks so far!

Watching that clip of District 9 has me wondering anew why Sharltoe Copley wasn't nominated. He was just fantastic in that movie.
