The guy who walked off Barbara and Kathryn just now was holding royalty within his arms.

WHOA! Um, that was so quick.

Congrats indeed! I had kind of figured that it would win, and ironically this was one of the lowest, if not the lowest-grossing nominated film this year.

    Hmmm... 13 right / 11 wrong. A so-so year for me.

He literally said a few words and then announced the winner. I wasn't even looking at my TV screen when he announced "The Hurt Locker."

But yay! I wanted THL to win. I love seeing the three of them in the background, with their arms wrapped around each other's shoulders.

    Congrats to all who won.
Everyone predicted to win by the oddsmakers did, in fact, win. No surprises at all.
    That usually does not happen.

I would, with all due respect though, go back to the show's prior directors / producers.
I've been watching this show for many, many years and this was one of the most boring ever.

It was a pretty boring show, I have to admit. And yes, very predictable. I would have liked to have had the Original Song performances instead of the dances to the Original Score nominess.

The only thing I didn't expect was Precious winning Best Adapted Screenplay. I expected that to go to Up in the Air. But other than that, there were no shockers whatsoever.
