    The Time Traveler's Wife

I was so disappointed - whole sections and characters of the book were cut. It was so over-simplified, I have no idea how someone who didn't read the book would like it, but just know that the book is so much better. The actors were adorable, but I kept waiting for people and scenes that never materialized. Oh well. rottentomatoes.com gave it bad reviews.

^ I agree, the book was much better. A shame as I really like both Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams and was expecting a lot. It was not bad so much, it's just everything was so rushed, there was so much left out/not explained.

I don't understand why they left out the part where
he tells her he will see her when she's old
. I thought that was so poignant and it would only have been 3 or 4 seconds of movie time and in keeping with the simplified story arc. grrrrrr

I saw this movie over the weekend. They really simplified the story, but still didn't explain anything. I agree that if you didn't read the book, you wouldn't have clue what was going on. He's shows up naked many times before they briefly explain why. That would have had me scratching my head if hadn't read the book!

I loved the book, and I was so looking forward to this movie. Ah well, Eric Bana & Rachel MacAdams have great chemistry, and I'd like to see them on screen together again someday.

Ok so I watched the movie last night and I can't help but feel there was a lot left out. Too much was missing from the wife's point of view.
