What in the world were they thinking. Although I hate leaving a movie, I mean I pay big bucks to see it, occasionally I will leave and ask the ushers to "turn the sound down", "turn the sound up", "start the film" etc... they are really good about accomodating the customer, they would have turned the AC back on if you had asked.

I wouldn't take a 5 yo to it at the movies due to the length alone. I have a daughter that is nearly 5 and even if it was a movie that she loved, I don't think she could still still for over 2 1/2 hours. JMO.
