Re: The Proposal

Cute movie, was much better than I thought it would be based on the reviews it received. Definite chick flick. Always love Sandra Bullock's spunk...

Re: The Proposal

I was nervous that this movie would be kind of "eh".
I thought it was hilarious, though!
I do think it was predictable, and there could've been more chemistry between the two (Sandra and Ryan).
But I think I will be getting it on DVD.

Re: The Proposal

This movie was fun, and a lot funnier than I expected. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! Yep, I was watching the movie and simultaneously drooling over the house in Alaska

Re: The Proposal

My daughter and I saw this today. We had a very bad, bad, bad week, so needed to get out and have a distraction. We laughed and laughed. Yeah, there wasn't chemistry between Bullock and Reynolds, but the movie was so funny. Betty White steals the whole thing. And so does Kevin, the dog. Typical chick flick yeah. Nothing that makes it stand out from the crowd of chick flicks, but when we needed some much needed laughter, it was a good movie for that. Except for all that snow and being miles from anything, I'd live in Alaska. It was beautiful scenary.

Re: The Proposal

^ The movie was actually filmed in Massachusetts, not Alaska.

Re: The Proposal

I loved Betty White, loved Sandra Bullock's chanting in the woods, the waiter/stripper/store guy/minister, the house was incredible. The office cubicle workers/ instant messages/confrontations were great. I will probably buy this one when it comes out.

Re: The Proposal

I liked it... Ryan Reynolds is so funny and easy on the eyes too. Some of his facial expressions were just priceless. I particularly liked the scene at the beginning: "The witch is on her broom"!
And the guy who does everything in town... waiter, dancer, minister etc... that was pretty funny too.
