I went to see this movie with my daughter and two sons, and it was the cutest movie in the world. I must be honest: I think a few tears came out of my eyes. It's just a naturally fun but sad movie.

I saw it today. Nothin' like crying in the first 15 minutes of a movie. And I don't know if it's because i've been out of college for so long or if the movie was that good, but this is the first 3-d movie in a long time that I hadn't been sitting and scrutinizing parts of the actual animation, lighting, and textures. Just a hint, avoid watching animated movies with animation students

I hadn't noticed this thread until now. "Up" has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. It has so much heart. I cried more than a few tears - in fact, it was difficult to suppress sobs at times. But they were bittersweet tears. It's in response to what naturally happens in life. The characters are so well developed. And the dog jokes are just hysterical! SQUIRREL!
