So what is everyone's "take" on Taken?
I saw it this weekend and thought it was excellent.
It definitely makes you think. I'm certain this kind of thing happens regularly, and not everyone has Liam Neeson to come to their rescue.
Not sure why the powers that be were not planning on releasing this in the U.S.
It was scary that it was so easy to spot girls and make them dissappear and that the one French ex spy and St. Claire were so callous that it was about the money and business. I liked the idea of the father/daughter relationship. I liked that Liam Neesom can still kick ass. Nice to see an older experienced "warrior". Still I do wonder what happened to the girls he found.
Why were the powers that be not going to release this film here in the US?
I thought this was okay. As action movies go, it kept my attention, but i can't say there was anything about it that made me say "wow! that blew me away". Lakeview Terrace to me was more of an action thriller movie that makes you think than this one was.
I will Define The Movie in only one word Awesome........
My husband and I are going to see this this afternoon. I can't wait. I love LN. I love MG, too so this should be a treat for me.
