| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 Too many white/off white, but mostly lovely dresses. I caught a couple glimpses of Natalie Portman, in pink, didn't get to see the whole look but she looks amazing. Hoping we get to see that outfit. now. I'm ready for Hugh. Hugh. and more Hugh. |

| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 Oh, I had forgotten about Natalie Portman. E showed the entire outfit early tonight. She is stunning... so flat-stomached that it should be illegal!

| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 It's starting! ![]() I'm excited to see how Hugh will do, since I don't watch the Tony's and I've read so many good things about him as a host.

| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 I like nearly all of the white and off white dresses this year. Didn't like the colour of Natalie Portman's dress at all. Didn't like Amy Adams' necklace either. I'm not a fan of neck jewelly in general though, so something that large didn't appeal to me. I think Marisa Tomei is my best dressed.

| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 I think Hugh Jackman is an incredibly talented man. And, of course, he's incredibly gorgeous. But, I am really preferring an opening like that of Billy Crystal or Whoopi Goldberg.

| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 Wow, 5 past winners of best supporting actress? I like it. It's a close race for this category. I'm really eager to see who wins.

| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 Huh...this is weird. Angelica and Whoopie's dresses are bad news bears. But Tilda looks divine.

| Re: The 81st Academy Awards - Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 That little intro with the past winners of Best Supporting Actress kinda ate up time. Penelope won. I was expecting that.
