What was predictable. Did Slumdog get best picture?
    Seeking form amidst the void.

But if that's not possible, gimme a Margarita...shaken, not stirred...and hold the salt, please.

I am glad to see all the kids from Slumdog take the stage. I thought they were the best part of the movie.
Wow - just realized I guessed correctly on every major category tonight. THis was the most predictable Oscars show ever.

    Yes.

Not to mention that the whole show was predictable also, minus a few awards. But I still thoroughly enjoyed this year's show. I loved the little montages for each movie genre, especially the comedy one. The short that Judd Apatow wrote was genius.

I also loved the way they presented the acting categories. I don't think they can do this format in years to come since it would probably get old quickly, but I still really liked it. I enjoyed seeing some of the greats, like Sophia Loren and Robert DeNiro, and also a few newer actors like Marion, who is just so cute.

I loved the way they presented the Best Actor/Actress Awards this year. Did you all notice how Jennifer Anniston was sitting behind Sean Penn? I noticed she glanced over to her right when he stood up, I wonder if she was glancing over at her ex.

I thought it was my eyes or my television. That was ridiculous! Why didn't they put them up on a full screen?

I thought it was tacky when they glanced over at Brange when Jenn was on stage. Not cool at all.

    Yay, best winner so far!
I loved her dad whistling! That was a great moment.

I'm surprised (no, I'm not.. I'm just kidding) that Kate didn't thank Nicole Kidman for backing out of The Reader so she could go on and win her first Oscar. She had her right there on stage...

Robert DeNiro's pseudo-roast of Sean Penn was hilarious.

Hated the me-me-me nature of Bill Maher's performance. :nono

Marisa Tomei's dress makes her look like The Chrysler Building.

The changes this year were very enjoyable and made the entire show very easy to watch. They did a great job.
