Yes, I remember The Homecoming with the Waltons. I know it's been around at least 28 years... my best friend watched it (and cried over it) in the hospital after giving birth to her son. G'night, John-Boy!
I never met a piece of chocolate I didn't like.

i remember it well. it was the movie that spawned the walton's series, i believe.

I'm not a fan of Christmas movies, but we always watch A Christmas Story. It's just so funny.

Saw a thing that this was the 25th anniversary of it and they did a "where are they now" and the kid that sticks his tongue to the freezing flagpole is now a porn star.
And Ralphie is a director and he directed either Transformers or something similar.

Anyway, I have NEVER seen It's a Wonderful Life and I hope to keep it that way.
Same for Miracle on 34th street.

I thought the first Santa Clause movie was cute and so was Christmas with the Kranks, but neither are movies I'll keep watching.

The past couple of years I've watched Love Actually and Elf around Christmas time, so I guess they're becoming traditions . I've also cried with The Christmas Shoes the one time I watched it, but I liked it. It was a sweet story, although very sad.

Better watch out, you'll shoot your eye out!

That's pretty much me too. I just think it's a funny movie about simpler times and simpler Christmases. If you read the book, it's funny too. Has a different title. In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash.

And I did have a Red Ryder BB gun when I was a kid, so I can relate a bit.

It has never felt like Christmas until I watch Miracle on 34th Street (the original) and White Christmas.

Other than those some of my Christmas movies are really off the wall:
    Lethal Weapon 1
    Die Hard 1 & 2
    The Associate
    Home Alone 1 &2
    The Ref
    Love Actually
    Donovan's Reef

At BlockBuster they are selling the leg lamp bobble head and the clerk actually told me you can buy the real lamp for $35 online. I cannot even imagine!
