Re: The Dark Knight

I thought it was great. Heath did a fantastic job as did Aaron Eckhart. Worth the ticket!

Re: The Dark Knight

Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Heath was awesome and definitely worthy of all the Oscar buzz.
The Joker character is truly disturbing in this one!

Re: The Dark Knight

I think they exaggerated with the bit about 6am shows. I saw nothing of the sort here in NY. And i'd know because I saw the movie at wed. midnight show and it was good.

Re: The Dark Knight

My boyfriend and I were going to go see this in IMAX tonight, but they were sold out, all they had was in regular theater so we got tickets early and got there 45 minutes early and there was already about 100 people in line and we decided against going and went and saw Wanted even though I already saw it with my cousin. I am really looking forward to seeing this movie though in IMAX at that.

Re: The Dark Knight

Went to see this last night and loved loved LOVED it! I only had a couple of problems. There were a couple of minor inconsistancies. I'll spoiler for those who haven't seen. Now keep in mind that this is coming from someone who was under the assumption that Batman Begins and Dark Knight were both prequels to the other Batman movies. [[Harvey Dent had a totally different disfiguring accident than what they showed in the other Batman movie featuring Two-Face. In the other one, Harvey Dent got half his face splashed with acid (and it was the right side of his face). In this one, he got his left side of his face burned off in a fire. Also, in the other Batman, Two-Face is alive and well as he kills Robin's family and teams with the Riddler to get Batman (whom he blames for his accident). But in this movie, Harvey Dent (Two-Face) dies at Batman's hands. I honestly don't like inconsistencies.]] My husband thinks that rather than it being a prequel, perhaps they're just simply starting from scratch. I'd like some input from others who've seen it.

Re: The Dark Knight

I have seen many pictures of Heath as the Joker, and they are all pretty scary, especially the one I saw on my Yahoo homepage today.. yikes..

I want to see this movie, maybe when it comes out on DVD.

Batman Begins was a complete reboot of the entire series. Both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight disregard the previous movies (before Batman Begins) as if they never existed.
