So how was it, X-philes? Worth the price of admission? The review in our paper panned it.

Well, most of the people in the theatre hated it, but I thought it was enjoyable. I don't really want to spoil anyone's experience of the storyline, but you should know going in that it's not a mythology movie, so no aliens. I thought the principal cast did a great job, and there are some beautiful shots. I think the critics are probably being a little hard on the movie because, for one, The Dark Knight just came out and blew everyone's minds, and it's also hard to recapture the spirit and chemistry of the entire series after it laying dormant for six years.

I felt something was missing but i still liked it. I can't wait to see it again. Someone's asking me if there was a sex scene. I lost time so i don't know.

I'm particularly interested in seeing it because it is not a mythology story. The alien/government/black oil/Mimi Rogers stuff got soooo overwrought by Season 9 I pretty much disengaged from my former fangirl devotion to the show. As long as Mulder and Scully actually have scenes together, I think I'll be happy. I've got plans to go Sunday.

Just for you PhoneGrrl: Scully says in one scene, [["It's why i fell in love with you"]] To me, that's the strongest declaration of their relationship.

My boyfriend panned it to me. He went with some friends and he said its was alright but it's time has passed. I still want to see it though.
