in my mind, 58 is still very young....
i feel horrible for his wife that she wasn't there when he died... and poor gwyneth not only lost her father, but will always have a shadow over her birthday.

Yeah, but her birthday was on Sept 28. At least it wasn't the same day.

I feel sad for the family. Blythe for not being able to say goodbye and be there for her daughter, and Gweneth for not having her mom there and shouldering his illness and death.

It seems almost medieval for someone to die of pneumonia complications.

my boyfriend was just saying the same thing this morning. however, i also saw on the news last night that he had been battling (and not necessarily winning) throat cancer. that being said, his immune system couldn't battle pneumonia.

At least it wasn't the same day. 58 is too young. __________________ If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker. It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.
