I realize that it was done as a mockumentary, but still, it was without a doubt the stupidest movie ever. Even with all the political and racial "commentary", it was just dumb, dumb, dumb. It's called CSA: Confederate States of America and it's about what would have happened if the South had won the Civil War. (we are allies with Hitler, women still don't have the right to vote, we have a "cotton curtain" with Canada because all the abolitionists and runaway slaves go to Canada and stir up unrest between Canada and the CSA, the CSA invades Mexico, Central and South America and annexes them, putting those people into slavery as well, Kennedy runs for president as a Republican instead of a Democrat) It's probably a good way to open dialogue about racial issues, but as a film, it was just really dumb.

| Re: What is the stupidest movie you've ever seen? I was very disappointed with Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber from Fleet Street. Johnny Depp was fantastic, of course, but the plot can be summarized easily in two to three sentences. When it ended, I felt like I had been cheated of my money. A whole lot of nothing happened. The murder scenes were basically repeated over and over again - they could've used the exact same clip for all I know.

| Re: What is the stupidest movie you've ever seen? I agree about Cloverfield. Highly disappointed in it. It was really truly a movie I'd classify as "stupid". |
