I really want to see "La vie en rose" now. I liked her speech but that fish dress is awful.

They seem to be spreading out the big awards now, rather than bunch them up at the end. I guess that keeps people watching, but it does diminish some of the sense of suspense in the proceedings...

Then again, we've been watching this thing for almost 2 hours. I guess it's all relative.

I think the pattern was more appropriate for the tiles on a bathroom floor .

Me too, although the nomination clips reminded me I want to see Juno too, after I saw Allison Janney in it.

The Wii gets a plug on the Oscars. Nice! But I bet Sony is pissed.

Sony has to be basking in the glory that HD-DVDs are pretty much officially dead... so they may not mind too much !

Juno was good although for the first half of the film I completely hated Juno and wanted to smack her repeatedly. By the second half I sort of liked her and she grew on me. It was an cute movie but only worth watching once, IMO.
